  Parents, with the Christmas holidays behind us, we are nearing the halfway point of the school year. With the cold weather upon us, please make sure your children come to school each day dressed appropriately. As a general rule of thumb, we will have outside recess as long as the temperatures are above 18 degrees F. We do keep close tabs on wind chill readings as well as air quality so that your children are not put in danger. If you have a student who has issues with asthma or has recently been ill, please let us know and we will arrange to keep them in, if the conditions warrent it. Thanks for your help with this. Also parents, we are continuing with our Ken Garff Road to Success reading program. Our goal is to have all of our students reading at home on a daily basis. We appreciate your support with this by monitoring your child's reading and signing their reading log each night. We will continue to reward students who are consistantly reading at home by having our monthly prize drawings. Thanks for your support with this. Sincerely, Mr. Gardner
