  Parents, thank you your support of the recent Walk-a-thon. Our original goal was to raise $4000 to help with the general expenses of running our school. With the recent cuts in education funding from the state legislature, many of the necessary accounts needed to effectively run a school were reduced by as much as 10%. Some of these areas include classroom aide time, playground supervision, office aide help, equipment budgets, custodial supplies to name a few. The funds raised during the walkathon will help reduce the overall effect of these cuts. After totalling everything up, we raised over $7000 during this worthwhile activity. As there were many generous donations, we would be happy to write a receipt of your donations so that you can have a paper trail for tax purposes. Thank you again.
• During the summer, the school will be open on a limited basis. On June 29th and July 13th, the school will be open from 9am until noon for new student registration and to answer other questions. If the school is not open and you need to contact either Mrs. Davis or Mr. Gardner please call and leave a message and one of them will get back with you as soon as they return. Thank you and have wonderful summer.
• June 29th - School open for new student registration - 9 until noon
• July 13th - School open for new student registration - 9 until noon
• School will be open during other times when Mr. Gardner is in the building
• August 4th - Next year's class lists will be posted in the morning.
• August 19th - School open house from 3 to 4pm
  August 20th - School begins
